The Tolerance Poster Show asks prominent designers from around the world to visualize the word ‘tolerance’ in their language, or relatable local context. For my submission, I designed this poster using Danfo STD; a single weight font that takes inspiration from the bold lettering used as sticker designs on the backs of the iconic bright yellow ‘danfo’ buses (native to Nigeria & common in Ghana) to speak messages of protest, comic relief & the occasional word of wisdom.
